clear and transparent fees
My standard consultation fee is $300 for a 60-minute appointment
You do not need a referral to see a psychologist.
Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate, private health insurance benefits, or funding through WorkCover, Comcare or another approved funding arrangement.
Choosing a psychologist is an important decision. Finding someone who feels like the right fit is often just as important as the funding pathway. If you have questions about fees, rebates or your options, I'm happy to discuss them with you before your first appointment.
CANCELLATION FEES:
The full consultation fee will be charged for missed appointments and cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice. Please note that rebates are not applicable for any sessions missed or cancelled without 24 hours’ notice.
You’re worth the investment.

Queensland Police Service Self Refer Program
I am an approved provider under the Queensland Police Service (QPS) Self Refer Program, (which also supports eligible employees and volunteers from Marine Rescue QLD and the State Emergency Service). If you are accessing counselling through this program, your sessions are fully funded, with no out-of-pocket cost for eligible participants.
If you have a Medicare Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) you are eligible for a rebate of $101.55
Under a MHTP you may be eligible for a rebate on up to10 psychology sessions per calendar year.
Medicare Rebates
Workers Compensation
Appointments funded through WorkCover or Comcare are welcome. Fees are charged in accordance with the relevant authority's approved schedule, and a valid claim number and approval are required prior to your first appointment.
Private health insurance rebates may be accessible under your private health insurance policy. The rebate amount and the number of sessions accessible will vary depending upon your cover. Please check your private health plan or contact your provider for more information.
Private Health Insurance
A Quick word on your rebates:
Medicare does not cover the whole cost of the consultation - we are not a bulk bill practice.
You will need a referral from your GP or psychiatrist for a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) under the Medicare Better Access Initiative.
Unfortunately, you are unable to claim on both your private health and MHTP at the same time.
You are not able to claim rebates for late cancellations fees or sessions you did not attend.
Depending on your private health insurer you may be eligible to access a partial rebate for your appointments.
Each fund is different so please check directly with your health fund for eligibility.
The Australian Association of Psychologists Inc recommended schedule of fees for a standard 40-to-60-minute consultation is $330.00 for the 2026-2027 period.
IF You’re ready to make a change, or simply looking for a space to pause, reflect and move forward with greater clarity, i would be pleased to support you.
Therapy with me is…
Collaborative - we will work together to find an approach that fits you.
Compassionate, practical and evidence-based.
Tailored to your goals, values and life circumstances.
A space where humour is welcome, alongside the difficult moments.
Therapy with me is not…
About convincing you that you are broken - because I don’t believe you are.
About pretending life is easy. Sometimes it is just hard, and you don’t have to carry that alone.
Just talking about problems without moving towards meaningful change.
About expecting you to “just be more resilient”.
Let’s get started.
Support begins with a conversation
